writes:Me and my boyfriend of two years just recently broke up. we tried hooking up for a while but I decided we shouldnt hook up with out dating. Im still deeply in love with him and would do anything to get him back. now the problem is, theres a rumor going around that i hooked up with someone else. this isnt true so i went ahead and told him about the rumor. he wont believe me at all and im afraid this will ruin my chances of getting back wtih him. what should i do?

 So many things to say but one that comes to me is, its really sad that you chose to think the worse of me and see me in such a negative light.
Then something like you rather he heard it from you than by those doing the gossiping. That you trusted that he trusted you. And if he chooses to believe gossip of others instead of you, there is nothing you can do other than believe in yourself.
