writes: Cud you tell me my risks of being pregnant?i slept in same bed with my bf last night and woke up with him coming in me. i dont mind him doing stuf to me if im sleeping. but turned out he never used a condom. i have been on the pill for a while. but i missed it the day before and took it again once i woke up after hed done it. would the effect of the pill still stop me being pregnant if i forgot to take it the day before sex?

reader, anonymous, writes (13 June 2008): Technically, you're unprotected if you're on the same pill as me (microgynon) for seven pill taking days after the day you missed. However, the standard pills work in two ways - the first is preventing ovulation, and the second thickening the lining of the womb, making the egg unable to 'attach' itself once fertilised. Thus, it's pretty unlikely that you're pregnant, but check your guidelines, and I imagine they'll tell you to stay away from cum for the next 7 days.

Well you have got to remember everybody is different, but by missing one pill I think you will be ok. I fell asleep one night and forgot to take it and had sex that morning and then realised i hadnt taken it, and took it as soon as i realised. If u miss more than 2 missed pills, think thats when u have to start worrying.
