Does he mean exactly as he says? Or would he secretly *have* minded a little bit? I'm wondering because he's the one I'm planning to make love with for the first time too; will he think it any more special because he's my first (and hopefully only!) or does it not make a difference as such? He was trying to say that he's glad he's your first, but trying to do it without making it seem like that's the only thing he likes about you - basically trying to say he likes you for you, and not your lack of history. He might have minded a bit (jealousy is natural, and one of the most powerful, uncontrollable emotions around), but he would have gotten past it. At any rate, it's a moot point.
And yes, him being your first sexual experience will mean a lot to him - that's a gift a girl can only give once, and it'll certainly make him feel special.
