Will losing weight cause me to have noticeably excess skin? What do you all think?

I'm 15 and i'm not particularly fat or anything i just have got a little bit tubbier this year like i've got abit of a belly hangin out and chubby thighs at the moment so i've decided to just try and tone up for the summer, nothing drastic i'm just cutting down on snacking and doing 20 minutes on a tredmill every day after school. but i've just thought if i lose weight off my legs will i have a noticeable amount of excess skin?? and will 20mins a day even help me tone up or will it just not do anything noticeable..thanks..not an urgent question like i just wish 2 b abit more tones up. thanks xx

cd206 agony auntNo you'll be fine. The way excess skin comes about is generally through losing weight without exercising. That's why pregnant women often get loose skin on their tummy because they lose the weight without doing any exercise. Keep up the treadmill and the healthy eating and your skin will be fine!

eyeswideopen agony auntAt your age your skin is very elastic, I sure wish mine was, so I think as you tone up you'll be just fine and your skin will adjust. Good luck with the exercise, I know you will feel as good as you look.
