Being a good person, and that is what being a virgin is used to represent, does not mean that a lady has to be a virgin to be a good person. A lady who is a virgin, has that good trait to be part of her life, and have other good traits as well. The lady who doesnt have, for whatever reason, has many good traits as well. To me, being a a lady with a good character is more important than the virgin status. I have known several ladies as friends who said they were virgins, and they where terrible people to be around. I would rather have a lady who is not a virgin with pleasant personalites, than being a terrible lady to be around. And I have met ladies who have said they are virgins, and have a pleasant personality. The personality is the main thing, to me, that is the standard.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 August 2010): First of all im confused. The question says "Will he know im not a virgin?" meaning that you have had sex, but when you describe youre problem you say that you are a virgin, meaning you havent had sex. So which one is it?
But if youre a virgin he might be able to tell if the hymen is still there. He might know if you have had sex if the hymen is not there. But if youre a virgin and the hymen is not there it could be that it is not there anymore due to you breaking it yourself whether through masturbation or some physical activity.
But I think that you are too young to have sex, im 13 and I still havent done it. But I cant tell what to do and what not, so as long as you love each other and use protection I wish you both the best of luck!:]
