Make sure he gives you an orgasm (with his fingers, mouth etc) before you try insertion. That will make you as relaxed, open, and wet as you can get.
Then you get on top of him, guide it in, and move to find the location, angle, depth, etc that feels easiest to you. It's impossible for him to really judge how it feels to you. After you do it - you'll probably feel silly for all your worrying.

You will be surprised at how much nicer it feels than a smaller one!! It wont hurt, you may be tense as its been a while just make sure you have lots of foreplay first to get in the mood. Ive had them all sizes, teeeny tiny to nice big fat juicy ones, honest!! and there is only one that hurt and, no lie, it was as big and thick as my forearm!! So 6-7 inches is nothing to worry about, my hubbie is a lot bigger than that and has never hurt me x

hehehe uncle phil :P.. average is between 5-6 inches . so hes a little bigger than average. i wouldnt be worried at all its always intimadating when you get more than you thought you bargained for, but talk to your partner when your having intercourse take it easy and slow, also try some lubrication. and let him know if or when you have pain.. although to me i think the time you should be worried is when your partner is 12 inches -_- lol.. good luck aphex xxx

If it starts to hurt then you have to tell him to withdraw a little and not go any deeper than that. Put a length of masking tape around it to indicate maximum depth allowed. (joke).
When you consider that a baby's head is able to come out of it, something of a much smaller diameter shouldn't have much trouble getting into it!
The main thing is to relax and communicate whilst having a spot of nookie, especially the first time.
