He wants to have a relationship with me and I think I want to also. He knows I have just been out of a relationship. I am broken hearted but on the other hand it will be easier if I dated this friend of mine. He knows that he may just be a rebound guy. Or it could turn out to be the best thing ever happened to me.My question is, will it help me forget my ex or is it just going to postpone the heartbreak if I start to date him? Please please help...I need your advice.

I'd say take the shot, but try not to make it a rebound. Love does not wait for convenient timing, but it's also fragile when mishandled. Try to form a real relationship with this guy, but take it as slowly as you can. It'll be easier to get over your ex, and easier to like this new guy for him, and not for the convenience of him.
Rebounds generally make things worse, but like you said, this could be a good thing. Just take it slow and easy, and enjoy it for what it is.
