writes:my boyfriend used to be in an open relationship when we stared giong but he told me he wanted to settle down and have a serious relationship with me, after he told me he had dumped her we spended around a month just dateing and he slept with two girls but since the day we became official we havent seen that much of each other but then i just found out he has still seeing his ex , why whould he lied to me about ending the relationship with the other girl if we were already dateing?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 May 2011): so that he could continue to keep you around, that's why...or else he's one of those people who are weak-willed and mayb sincerely intend to do something when they're talking about it, but don't have the backbone to actually follow through and do it for real.
