A female United States age 30-35, *b47977 writes:

I've been feeling so horrible because my friend that's a guy broke my heart and hurt my feelings. So i have been ignoring him and if he gets in the conversation I talk. It's bad enough that he acts like I never mattered to him but bad enough I have to see him every day at school. In shop hes real close to me all the time but he stays with the freshman now. What should I do to not be hurt because I'm forced to see him and sit near him on the bus? My best friend just happens to be his cousin and she likes to sit near him. What hurts the most was being so close and now me and him may never text or talk online again. I really miss him and the person he was when I first met him. If I told him that he wouldn't care and when I graduate high school I may tell him that since I'm never going to see him that I liked him and he really hurt my feelings when he stoped talking to me.

This summer I'm not going to worry about him at all and I hope things get better when I return to school in August. What I don't get is that he was jealous when I told him that a guy wearing only underwear was in front of me and that guys were flirting with me at the motocross races. Why would he let something like me bother him but not show it?
