For example, on msn, when you tell him that you are struggling on something or tell him you are sad..., he would somewhat comfort you. But in real life, he would say things like 'haha', 'you know you will fail', or many other negative things. Also, on msn, he occasionally says 'i love you' and 'i miss you' these things, but in real life, nothing of these are shown. Honestly, his words online had once caught my attention and made me hesitate whether he likes me; and even, at some point, I actually liked him.P.S. Earlier in the year(around Jan), he said he's going to prom with me. However, now, he seems to forget about it. I was about to ask if we are actually going together as a date; but do you know, his 'real life' behaviour really frustrates me (cos i don't know why there's such a big difference of him on msn from real life). Therefore, I gave up on that idea and even planning to stop liking him. Now, I do feel like I'm the only liking him; he doesn't like me back. So, I'm here to ask is this a guy thing to behave this way? And which side of him should I take as his 'real him' - msn or real life? What side's words and behaviour should I rely on most? To say it rudely, is this a jerk's behaviour.?Thank you soooo much:D

People can be something different on the MSN, just go by how he is in real life and don't even consider having him as a boyfriend.

Hello,
Well, the problem is most people have persona's depending on what they want to achieve. Either he is conflicted or just plain bizarre, it's hard to know but the behaviour is strange and potentially damaging. All in all he is negative, puts you down, forgets committments he has made with you and is generally not a great boyfrind.
He may be a lovely online 'character' but at the end of the day it's the real life personality that speaks volumes and the way things already sounds you might need to review developing this relationship!

so in real life he behaves bad and in virtual life he behaves good?
well in my view you live in real life and this is where you should mostly judge him - unless you are a sim?
He is a muppet - so go find someone who isn't

He used to be so loving online, telling me he loved me and stuff but now in real life it's horrendous. We fight all the time and i am so miserable. I think the main problem with men is that they find it difficult to express their true feelings in real life where as on msn it is easier. Having said that you can't put up with this kind of nonsense forever. I can't leave mine because i am scared of being on my own. I hope your much stronger than me

he's different on msn because you're not face to face. When there's a screen between you, you tend to get more confidence, and would say things you wouldnt necessarily normally say. Have u tried talking to him about how you feel? like, explaining that he has 2 different sides and its confusing you?
You should take whichever side you want, but my own personal opinion would be the take the real life him. After all, if u ever became more than friends, you'd get more of the real him than the msn him...
hope this helps x
