My boyfriend and I make it a habit of having "dry sex", or dry humping...we do this as an alternative to having intercourse.when doing this, we both wear our underwear so as to make sure that no fluids get through.after doing this, the friction seems to have caused problems with my vagina. I don't know why, but my it always hurts AWFULLY when i pee afterwards and it is very sensitive to the touch afterwards.I am worried that this may be something to worry about, or is it normal outcome from dry sex? please give any advice you can offer. thanks so much

reader, anonymous, writes (20 July 2010): Yes me an my bf have experienced this just recently ourselves...it's just like chafing it dry u out and my cause sores or small cuts...the pain should go away...jus don't do it so often...lay off a couple days to prevent more of an annoyance or painI hope this helps!!

 ok i would say to the fact that your wearing clothes ie pants can dry the area ie good example, when u rub ure skin against the carpet you get carpet burn. so i would get lubricant and give your body sometime as it could be aggrivated to being so dry the same sort of thing can happen during sex if you are dry and have not enough fluids.. so if i were you ide use lubricant in future to help the friction of the dry humping. so i wouldnt be worried yet but if it doesnt go away after a certain period of time then i would go see your gp about this issue . thats my opinion hope this helps.

It doesn't sound likt the out come is worth it for you.
Maybe you could try different types of alternative sex, such as oral or using your hands on one another.
