Why them and not me?

I'm confused. I've known this guys for 5 years. We never physically hooked up until 2 months ago, but were always good friends. We also live 3 hours apart. Before we took it to the next level I introduced him to my 2 best friends and he hooked up with both of them. I later found out that he went down on them, and made out with both of them. We have hooked up 4 times since may and he has done neither with me. I mean he's kissed me but never made out with me. Why them and not me? Recently he told me he liked me and we decided to date. I'm wondering tho if I'm being played or if he is trying to save something for later because he cares about me and my friends were flings. Please help!
