writes: hey all, sorry i know there are about a billion posts on this but i dont have time to trawl through them all.my girlfriend and i are both relatively new to sex, and thus far the half dozen times we've done it she has been in a lot of pain. for me going in there doesnt seem to be too much tightness, so what could be causing it? my initial thought was maybe irritation, but she says the pain is at the (not sure how technically accurate it is) bottom or her vagina, so id think stretching is an issue.im confused, and sex isnt fun when only i enjoy it.any suggestions much appreciated

Well, I lost my virginity at 15 years old and it is a bit young to start, but my vagina hurt as well. It will take some getting used to. It's only because this is something new and it will be painful, as it was for me for months. Just give it time and you will both be able to enjoy sex. But if your girlfriend beleives that it may be something wrong(other than the normal stretching and very slight pink discharge) then maybe she should consult a doctor. I hope you found this helpful. By the way, always use a condom. There is so many things that could happen without protection.
