I was confused by what he wanted and said if he wasn't serious about making things right then to leave us alone. He sent a horrible message about him being way better since he left me and feeling sorry for our child because she has to deal with me forever and I'm the crazy one. Why is he being so horrible and hurting me? I didn't do anything wrong.

I have to agree with Honeypie. You are better off without him. Who knows why he is being such a cretin? Get your own life together and enjoy it with your beautiful child.

He was lashing out because you pointed out that HE is the FAILURE. I think he doesn't like to be reminded that he fell short. Touch cookies.
I would honestly ignore the e-mail. File for Child Support and move on with your life. YOU have the HARD job here, raising your daughter, so focus on that. Seems like you ARE better off without him.
