Four or five months, but we got very close very fast, and we both love each other and have expressed that to each other. We spend every spare moment that we have together, and he spends every night at my house. Everything seems to be going perfect with him - I love him a lot.Lately, I've noticed him being odd with his phone. Before I go any further, I want to state that I have NEVER snooped in his phone, and I don't plan on it. But I've noticed that when he is texting with a particular number (I can see it at the top of the screen - and only notice it because he doesn't have this particular person saved as a contact...there is no name, just a number at the top of the screen) he gets kind of...."skiddish". He is very careful to turn away from me, or pull the phone closer him if I walk by or sit next to him. He very clearly doesn't want me to see what he's texting. He doesn't do this with other people. Most of the time he'll text right next to me and not worry about it.I noticed for a while he was texting this number a lot, but lately it has tapered off.Am I just being totally paranoid? He's not really acting any different toward me. He still tells me he loves me all the time, and still spends just as much time with me. I don't know...what do you think?

Hence the secrecy. We can only guess why that is so. Possibly it is another girl or even someone after him because he owes money. The list is endless. At this stage, you dont really know that much about him, so anything is possible. The speed that the relationship is going at might indicate a rebound relationship has been formed with you. Many people on the rebound find and secure a new partner very quickly with talk of love etc while still hankering after an ex. So it could be that he is still having issues with an ex or a crush. If sneaking a peak is out of the question the only other way to try and find out is to ask him and hope for an honest answer.

Memorize the number next time you see it at the top of the screen then later call the number and see who answers. You can turn off your cell phone's caller ID so your number won't be revealed. You could even call from a business location, bar, or cafe. Just tell them you need to borrow the phone and it won't be a long distance call then find out who answers the phone. Even if all you get it their voicemail, you might hear their voice and know if it's male or female. Other than that, you'll just have to ask him point blank. Good luck.

No, you are not "being paranoid."
What is "going on" is that he is texting with his OTHER girlfriend, and he it trying to hide that (ESPECIALLY her phone/text number) from you....
WHEN you figure out that this is "what's going on"... it might lead you to believe that you are NOT exclusive with this guy (as you BELIEVE, because "...he spends every night at my house...")....
Good luck.... Once you open your eyes you will need it....
