writes:Hey :) Okay so I was on facebook haha, when suddenly my ex said hi to me. We've been seperated for about two months now and I am always the first one to say hi (We never get to talk in person, we go to different schools). I was pretty suprised as to why he did it but I just carried on the conversation. He then asked about a guy who recently messed me around and apologized for bringing it up. Then he did something which shocked me a little bit, a few times he brought up funny things that happened when we were dating. I told him I wanted to meet up (just as friends) and get all the awkward stuff out the way from our break up and found out where I stand with him. He was all for it as he thought I meant at a party or something but there's no parties happening soon so I asked if we could meet up and his reply was "erm.. I don't know.." It confused me as to why he was being extremely kind and funny, when usually he is cold and blunt and things are very awkward but it wasn't at all this time. Why is he acting differently? It's like he's acting before we got together and it's confusing me and I really want to sort things out.

 Before you jump into any conclusions is there any chance he just wants reconnect since he liked you as a person and would not like to loose your friendship just because the relationship is over. He has not directly told you that he wants to start things over so maybe we should step back a little bit and not go ahead of ourselves. If you want him back in your life as a friend or a boyfriend - the ice has to be broken in order for you guys to speak , so give it time and time will tell you what are his intentions.
