However, after spending time with the surgeon, I developed feeling for him and broke up with my boyfriend. He is much older than me and he is such a gentleman. He does all kinds of sweet little things which melt my heart. Now I am back to school and we live in two different cities(4 hours away) and I invited him to come to see me in my city. He said yes at the beginning but then he changed his mind. He is on vacation now and he stopped calling me since last Tuesday. It has been 10 days and I am going crazy. I left a voicemail on his cell and also text messaged him on Friday, but he never called me back.He did tell me that I am so young for him and he doesn't know what to do with me. He also asked me to be patient with him and give him time to think things over. I have never dated guys his age and I don't know what to do now? Shall I take this as a sign that he doesn't wanna see me anymore? My question is why can't he just act as mature as his age and tell me his decision? What shall I do? Wait for him to call, call him or forget about him? Thanks everyone, I am so confused....

Since he's on vacation...he's probably having fun and not thinking of you. Trust me..if he cared..he would call you back. Leave him alone. If he was really into you he would visit you, call you. Since he's acting distant and not calling you. He's taking the easy way out hoping you get the hint. He was probably into the chase and once he "got you" then he lost interest. If that is the case..he's not worth your time anyway. Give him his space and if you really like him. Make him work for you. good luck.
