writes:I sarted liking this guy i hang out with about a month ago....then i noticed he started showing the signs that he liked me back like staring at me, standing by me, being extremely shy, always walking beside me in a group of people, flirting with me, and being nicer to me than anyone else. So about a few weeks ago he told my friend he liked me and that he wants to date me…he knows i like him…why hasnt he asked me out yet?

 Go ahead and ask him out yourself what have you got to loose!!
If he says no all you can say is that you have tried if he is shy well then it might be hard for him coming forward and asking you out so why dont you do it yourself.

 Ok well you say that he is shy so therefore am guessing he just cant pluck up the courage to ask you out in fear of rejection, you say he knows that you like him but for most guys they are completely blind to what is staring them in the face and it sounds like he is just scared that you will turn him down.
Therefore i suggest why dont you take the lead next time you see him go for it and ask him out on a date, believe me this will give him a lot more respect for you for being so forward and knowing what you want guys love this so go for it.
