writes: So this is pretty much my last resort for coming up with answers to what is going on with my ex. So for background, my ex of and I of almost three years "officially" broke up about a month ago after months of trying to make it work. We both moved to a new city but she moved about three months before me. She instantly started hanging out with her old girlfriends and getting back into the party life. Three weeks after she moved here she said broke up with me for the first time. It didnt feel like a break up because she texted me that same night and everyday after that for weeks. We finally got back together about a month before I was going to join her in the new city. Things were obviously rocky between us for the month while we were trying to make it work but I moved anyways. Three days after I got to the new city things were awful so I decided to check her phone and Facebook to see what was going on with her because she wouldnt tell me. I see many texts that she liked another guy when she broke up with me the first time and even when we were back together was Facebook messaging old boyfriends that she missed them. So she said she was sorry for doing all that and we broke up. The next couple of months we texted and talked and saw each other every once and a while. Then things changed so again I checked her Facebook and she had written a friend reference her new sex buddy. I officially cut it off after that and we didnt text for weeks. The next time we did text was when she texted me at 2 in the morning saying she couldnt stop thinking about me, and I didnt respond. Then a couple of days later she asked me if I never wanted to speak again and I responded that I dont think that it is fair for her to ask me that. She comes back with "well maybe we should just not speak anymore", and I said "ok". Not more than two days later she found some reason to say hi and texted me the following day too. That brings us to today. I still love her and a part of me wants her back despite all the crap she has put me through. So my question is why is she still texting me? Why would she say that we probably shouldnt speak anymore and two days later contact me?
