reader, anonymous, writes (6 December 2008): I've never had a bf so I'm probably not the best one to give advice to this, but my immediate thought was he still likes you and misses you; even if that means calling you just to hear your voice. I do that with a guy I really like: I'll call his office phone late at night when I know he won't be there then hear his answering machine message and it makes me all happy inside.
