My brother and his friend are in the US. I met his friend 12 years ago when he was single. It seemed that he liked me back then, but he never told me. My brother told me to send my documents to his friend and to thank him. When I wrote the e-mail, his friend replied very shortly as if he wasn't happy to do it. My impression is that he wanted something in return, and wanted me to begg him.I thanked him and my brother did not have to remind me so. He only checked I did. However, he IGNORED me thanking him, he switched the topic about other things. Now, if all this works, how should I react when I see him, how should I react with him if I happened to work in the same place that he does? what if my job is under his supervision at some point?Should I tell my brother of his attitude? Should I avoid social meetings where he and his family are? Reply to this Question Share |

Ok well if you see him again in person thank him again and tell him that you are very grateful to him and just take it from there. If he comes across as annoyed just ask him straight out whats wrong.
