We've been together for just over a year and a half. our relationship was really tough to keep together since day one because our families didnt accept the relationship.. now they do so its easier to have our relationship. Anyway, for the passed few months hes been contradicting everything in our relationship and i don't know what to do. For example, he told me i was "letting myself go" because i started getting manicures every other week instead of every week. In turn i kept up on my nails.. fine. Then he told me when we go to class that no one dresses up or tries to look nice.. so one day i went with no make up and wore a hoodie and it rained between classes so my hair got wet and messy. When i saw him before our second class he wanted nothing to do with me wouldn't kiss me nothing because he said we "didnt match as a couple" with me looking the way i did and that NO man would ever accept their girlfriend wearing a hoodie in public. Since then i've gotten my hair dyed, cut, and wearing nicer stuff. He loved it the moment i got everything done but after my first shower 2 days after he wasn't impressed anymore because my hair wasn't straight enough the same way a PROFESSIONAL does it. It's always stupid stuff like this. If i cook him food he wants to go out if we go out he wants me to cook him food. Even the passed few days... two days ago he started treating me like really bad calling me names and ignoring me and acting like i was an animal. So when i asked him about it last night he told me he just wants space, so i told him he could just tell me he wants space instead of treating me badly. Then this morning he told him hes upset because our "fire is gone" and that i'm not attached and loving to him. Meanwhile he just told me he wants space. These are just a few examples of stuff going on i just don't know what to do anymore! and if i want to talk about our relationship he either ignores me so hard that he doesn't even hear me speaking, two he falls asleep, three tells me i'm trapping him, or four he starts insulting me and telling me i'm a big baby. If someone knows whats wrong with him or us or even me!... please i'd love to hear it because my heart can't take this anymore. Reply to this Question

Because he doesn'r mean them. When a guy's actions contradict his words, then believe what he DOES, not what he SAYS.
"If someone knows whats wrong with him or us or even me!... "
He's a liar and a controller and more often than not that usually will eventually indicate he's a cheater.
He has zero respect for you, show some respect for yourself and dump him. If you don't, then the verbal control and verbal abuse will only escalate, very possibly into physical control and physical abuse.
