Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, WiseOwlE. That's very helpful.

We all go through moderators. At the beginning your answers have to be reviewed just to be sure they follow-guidelines.
Please don't be discouraged.

Just keep at it :)
New posters and people who answer do have a delay (like Auntie BimBim explained) over time this will be faster. It just means there are people (Our lovely Mods) who take care with what is posted.
And don't forget, OP - all mods are volunteers and have lives. So that can also add to the delay.

Hi Just trying to help
Ive been modding this site for a number of years. Some of us are, after a time, put on automatic so that our answers appear immediately. This decision is made after discussion between the mods, and the action allowing it to happen is done by a senior moderator.
Mods are alerted there are questions and answers when the number of questions to be modded hits a certain number ... because the site isnt coming up close to the top in google searches etc, the number of questions being recieved is much less than it used to be, so sometimes it can take a day for the number of questions to hit the desired number, which means any modded answers also sit there waiting for the magic number to be hit.
Please dont let your discouragement lead you to giving up on the site, I'm sure the quality of your answers has been noted b the senior mods.
