Why does it hurt everytime I have sex as much as the first time?

Question - (7 October 2008) 3 Answers - (Newest, 7 October 2008)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend and I have been having sex for about two weeks. We have done it about 8-9 times and every single time it hurts just as much as the first time. I don't understand why my body won't adjust and it seems that even if i take a little while off from it it hurts more.

Is there something wrong with me or is this natural?

Foreplay shouldn't start just before you are having sex.It should slowly build up during the week.hugs, kisses, sweet nothings.Sometimes the emotional quotient is very important in order to relax you.you should feel something for him.if you guys are compatible in every other section please do relax.Tension and fear is whats causing you the pain. How much ever big a guy is God made us in such a way that we can take them and love them.all the best

Tremor agony auntPerhaps you aren't lubricated enough. Do you do a lot of foreplay beforehand, or is he one of these 'touch her once and dive right in' types? It's important to make sure you are really good and wet, otherwise you get friction (ouch!). Perhaps try investing in a good lube.

Are you relaxing? You might well be tensing up because you are expecting it to hurt. Try your best to keep everything relaxed. This is another place where foreplay comes in handy - you can't go wrong with a spot of sexy massage.

For the time being, ask your boyfriend to be gentle and go slowly. Perhaps try some different positions - if you go on top, you can have more control, and figure out what is comfortable for you.

All the best.

I would say this is natural. When you two started 2 weeks ago were you a virgin? If you take time away from not having sex for a while, I can tell you now, I lost my virginity quite some time ago and even now If i refrain from sex for 2 to 3 weeks or more my vagina tightens up so thats probably not a good idea. But keep at it, use lube to make it a little easier, don't be so tense because this also causes the vagina to tighten up and causes sex to be a little painful and you should be fine =)
