Question - (20 March 2013) 8 Answers - (Newest, 21 March 2013)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I guess the only way this would make sense is if i start from the beginning....it seems almost unreal, like something you would only read in a book but its happened, and it still is...

SO back in october 2012 I had a random friend request on FB from this guy in my hometown, lets call him "S" I added him, he seemed ok enough to have in my friends list.

We start talking over some drawings and immediately asks if im single yadda yadda...then says could you see yourself with someone like me? I said "yes" i didnt even hold back or try to be coy and cute or hard to get i thought it was just that a question...he asks for my number...I continually just dont pursue talking to him he does to me, i dont text him message him and he asks why i dont, and all while suggests we meet when i visit.

Til finally one night when he was apparently drunk he asked me if i would kiss him (take in mind this is all on facebook) I was feeling rather lonely and its been a long time since i want to talk to a guy so i said yes. from then on things just progressed, and within weeks this turned into sexual conversations pictures and videos, he is the one who suggested it all not me i was/am happy to have someone into me as much as me into him..or so i thought...

I went to my hometown and it was at the tips of our fingers to meet but as fate would have it we didnt because i couldnt and the night i could probably he couldnt...so i come back home and it continues..

.ffw to march 1 after intense cyber sex he tells me he thinks he is falling in love with me. I am ecstatic! I feel the same for him though im scared to give my heart away again..then literally the next day....he starts ignoring me slowly and progressively and now its full fledged flat out ignoring yet if i start pulling away he pulls me in again or igf i dont text him he questions me

:[ ...im starting to grow very confused why would he do this? the entire time almost i feel as if im walking on eggshells. Hot and cold...and lately its more cold than anything :[ I made plans to see him this sunday and i was so happy he didnt seem to share the excitement as much as i thought he would and after 2 days of still being ignored instead of planning out our time i decided to cancel the trip, i know bad move but i dont want to be an just an option. Any advice?

oldbag agony auntHi

It's been around 5 months. If he wanted to meet he would have.

You cancelled that first time but even though you were in the same town you still couldn't manage a quick coffee together before you left.Just to say Hi.

He can have cyber sex with you then get on with his day, thats all he wants.

I know it's hard but stop chasing, pull away,he's really not worth your time

**** ORIGINAL AUTHOR**** He is not a fake profile we do have mutual friends some of my close friends have met him, but true we have not met in person yet... im the only one who has put effort he just expects me to go to him....I feel pretty bad about it we have talked on the phone and he has said I love you...:/ i guess i should let go everything in me tells me to but my heart. I had a hard time trusting before and i didnt trust him in the beginning hence why i would avoid him i thought oh i know what type of guy you are, charming and a player...yet he still managed to get me into a vulnerable state by talking to me constantly.... So games? I am crushed but i guess everyone sees it the same way. /3 Should I ask him anything about it? I doubt hed post my stuff on the internet cause i do have pics and video of him as well....

oldbag agony auntHi

Sexual chats, photos, videos and cybersex. With a guy you have never met.Probably all over the internet by now or at the very least shared with his friends

Stop immediately, block him and get him out of your life.

You need to focus on people you meet face to face people you can trust

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntSome guys get their kicks toying with others (women)... (

Some women do the same thing, incidentally.....)

You seem to have found one such guy....

He seems to be quite the jerk.... so put him out of your mind and your life... and get on with things....

Good luck....

SensitiveBloke agony auntYou've never met him, right? You can't possibly know someone you've never met.

Who knows what he's up to? He could be married, he might be in his seventies, he might even be a woman.
