He said we could only be friends..but he immediately offered to hang out with me for lunch or dinner. I quietly ignored that request as I could not understand what we would talk about over the meal(I was still heartbroken). A few months later, we continued chatting on facebook as before. However, almost all he chatted about was sex. I got unhappy as I could not understand his intentions, and because it would turn me on. Infact he enjoyed insinuating that it turns me on, which I found very cruel!I told him to stop chatting with me on sex topics. He apparently did not take it well, and has altogether stopped responding to a couple of messages I sent him on FB. Two days ago, he was desperate, needing help for something..he looked for me, and I did it for him. He wrote back on FB; "Thanks, You are the Best", and I said "thanks, too". My question is, why does he not want to chat or be my friend anymore, did he ever like me..why did he ever flirt with me? I feel very sad because I miss him. Thanks.

Why did you give him something when it was not what you wanted? You asked him to stop talking about sex and yet you gave in.
He was just using you for his sexual fantasy. Let me ask you, why do you allow him to treat you this way?
I think you like or love the person you wish he was but deal with the facts now and open your eyes...he is just using you.

you don't' understand his intentions OP?
You told him to stop talking about sex and since that's all he wants from you, he's stopped talking to you.
it's not cruel... its' a fact of life... you were nothing but a cheap lay to him... he didn't get what he wanted so he moved on.
