 girls go back because of different reasons,but staying with someone is like going home, its known teritory, you feel comfortable with someone you've been with. often girls feel like its their fault so they want to fix it.

I was friends with a girl in school kept going back to a dude that treated her like trash. I really liked this girl, but she could not stay away from this guy (creep). I knew him well, and he would talk about her with contempt. I almost got into a fight with him, once, but friends cooled it. Anyway, all you can do is hope the best for her, pal, and try not to let it get to you. You can't change her mind, so try to forget the romance idea between you. It will just keep knawing at you and you don't need that. Try to move away from it and get involved with other things and other friends.
