reader, anonymous, writes (24 December 2008): Oh my gosh, I swear you must be my twin, I think stuff like that everyday. I work @ starbucks and the way these customers treat me, can't be explained. They are so rude to me, they throw money on the counter e en when my hand is out reaching to get it. They don't say hello or anything. They come in like 6 times a day, and don't leave tips or anything, we're in a recession and they stil waste their money on venti lattes every 2 hours, that they never even finish. Sometimes when you see inside their wallets, its full of 100's and credit cards. They are so nastey and mean I don't understand why people like them have all the money and luck. When on the other hand my mom and I are hard working hoest people, and we're barely getting by especially since they keeping raising the rent and electricity bill and stuff. It really sickens me in every way possible. But I try to be optimistic and remind myself that one day I will get my turn to be successful and I will try 2 change the world for the better one day @ a time. I can't even afford 2 go to school next semester. They said my mom makes too much money so I can't get financail aid, but they look @@ her salary before taxes and don't take under consideration the cost of lving in nyc, especially now. But don't let things like that get you down, keep trying, i'm not going to let them turn me into another african american statistic. I'm going to graduate college. Follow your dreams DarlingMrs.c2b

The world is shifting its ways, nobody cares about being better than the other no more, it may not have come to you or your part of the world yet but it will. Enjoy life yourself and feel the love. At the end of they day you can't take anything with you to the after life except for your legacy of love.
