writes: Why do men make suggestive comments. I have known a man for 6 years and we have flirted on and off over that time. He says he likes winding me up from time to time. More recently though he has made more suggestive comments and when I have jokingly told him off he says I don't know what your talking about and laughs.Is he after more or just enjoys the flirty banter between us. How can I ask him without ruining anything.

Sounds like he's just joking around.
But if you like him then don't just flirt, give out some signals. Look at him in a sexy way when you see him, and don't flirt so jokingly anymore.
