writes:I have a question for the men..strange as it may seem but i feel i need to ask.Why do men whose wives are pregnant want a fling??I know this isnt the entire male population but this has happened to me several times that i have been propositioned to have an affair.I NEVER succumb and i NEVER will as i think its awful and would not want my partner to do so behind my back.When i ask these individuals why they want a fling they tell me they like me and dont seem to feel any guilt!Also on 1 occasion they guy was still pursuing me AFTER his child was born!WHY?

No, they just want to get laid its as simple as that. It's the decent guys that walk away from those situation or know their wife/g/f won't forgive them if they cheat so they back off!

Never knew he was married and then, with 3 weeks to go, he 'announced' his wife was pregnant and it was due shortly. I was in shock for about 3 months after that could not believe the lies. Here endeth the lesson and the relationship. Because they are not getting so much sex at home perhaps or feel 'left out' of all that is going on they feel the need to find their own babies dummy elsewhere.

 It's not a popular view, but it's a very, very old instinct that "civilised society" has been fighting against for thousands of years and still it continues to surface.
It's really very simple - and I'm not trying to justify it, because I'd be the first to say it has no place in today's way of life. Basically, the instinct for a man is to spread his genes. He has done the job, made the woman pregnant, and now the primeval instinct is to find another - because it will be a while before he can make that female pregnant again.
It's a basic animal urge, and if more people recognised it as that then perhaps we would find it easier to expect it and avoid it.

 EEEw, I know!!! Some guys are just rediculous, never want to man up to the consiquences of their actions. Some girls change when they are pregnant, with their hormones going crazy, they get moody, chunckier, a little more helpless, etc. Some guys get upset that their girl is not the same, and they behave like a-holes. Good for you for not going along with their childish behavior!
