However, if your panties suddenly get wet, like you are passing urine, but it is not urine, clear not yellow, you have a bacterial infection, and need to get a prescription from your doctor. If it is thick mucous that comes either before your period or in the middle of your cycle it may just be normal discharges....ovulation which usually occurs in the middle, cam cause some cramping like menstrual cramps, and you may have a gooey discharge at times when you ovulate...if it is right before your period, it could be also vaginal discharge, as your vaginal secretions become thicker in preperation for the sloughing of the uterine lining that takes place during your period, but best to ask a doc so they can better diagnose you...take care!

Back in college I heard about one professor that talked to his drama class about vaginal dripps, some type of unvoluntary discharge that some women secreet.
If it is coming out the other end, it could be anal leakage due to irratable bowel syndrome, and can be regulated through diet.
In addition to seeing a doctor, which I think you should do, monitor everything you eat, and see if certai foods, or combination of foods relate to the pain you are in.
Again, see a doctor.

This is often accompanied by a clear, sticky discharge which can last a couple of days. It could also be thrush which is a yeast infection of the vagina. The discharge from thrush however is a lot thicker and causes irritation and itchiness. You don't necessarily have sex to get thrush as it can sometimes occur as a result of taking antibiotics. But to put your mind at rest I would pay your doctor a visit for a checkup.

Urinary tract infection, thrush and a variety of STD's have these symptoms sometimes. Wise to get it checked out with a doctor - a simple swab of the area is enough to determine if you have a bacterial infection.
