reader, anonymous, writes (9 February 2007): this is probably cystitis also known as honeymoon disease. ie caused uually by rough/very enthusiastic sex and/or hes a 'big boy' [ you lucky girl]. if these things arent appropriate you will have to see your docter for probably antibiotics [ which no parent will get to know about], he also might have an infection ,quite innocent non std's are possible. leave it though and things will eventually get worse and possibly cause damage.

At the top of the home page you can do a search..type in bladder infections..when the next page comes up click on 'understanding bladder infections - basic information' scroll down until you see 'What causes them?'Theres a whole section about infections after sex. There is some important info that you should definatly read. Some bladder infections can be serious and need to be treated. Some are harmless and clear up quickly. Hope you find this helpful.. :-)
