She knows about this problem, and doesn't get affected by it, but I would like girls to stop thinking that I am looking at them. What makes girls think that I am looking at them? And, what can I do to make them stop thinking that I am looking at them?I know this is really confusing and kind of a creepy question, but I don't know how else to ask or go about getting this question answered. My girlfriend says to ignore people and their reactions, but it's really hard, and quite frankly really annoying. She is still in high school, and I am not.She also has really strict parents, and it is difficult enough to maintain this relationship, and keep things private. But we have been trying very hard, to keep everything together.I personally don't want this problem there anymore, even if it doesn't bother her, it bothers me.Any replies or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Reply to this Question Share |

I wouldn't have thought you had a problem with something so natural.
Looking is like breathing....be glad you have the gift of vision and what ever stands in your vision. What is unnatural is DENYING what the eyes see.
Have you thought that the girls might just be LOOKING at you because they actually FIND YOU attractive?
You can not say you do not LOOK at them IF you KNOW they are looking at you...you MUST be looking to see them looking...its logic.
The same as saying ( they ignored me...But the person who says this HAS ACTUALLY SEEN THE PERSON EGNORE THEM SO WHY DID THEY NOT SPEAK FIRST? WHO IGNORED WHO?) always bothered my logic those one's ???????????
The only thing you can do to stop girls thinking you are looking at them...is every time you see ( whoops!!!!!) see one
hide your face, look to the ground, shout to them i will not look at you! Now for my real answer...stop been a complete dick ...look with natural vision but use logic to know where to draw the line if it offends you or others.
Most men and women feel flattered if the opposite sex look at them...Like it or not you are a voyer just like most of us...i bet you have or do watch tv ?

And, my girlfriends know the circumstances so she understands, and doesn't care much. We have had our talks.Thank you for your input. =-)

Hey as long as you're not staring at them with psycho killer eyes there is nothing wrong with looking at people.....its just that some people are more comfortable with looking and maybe glance for longer than the average person, this of course means the person being looked at then notices, but like you say, you smile, say hi, they see a confident guy who is pleasant as well........ don't get hung up over it, its a strong positive trait....
Generally girls are always looking for validation and if they get guys looking at them its the response they desire, of course, if they are getting defensive or agressive cos u are staring, well, maybe a pair of dark sunglasses will help.... joking apart, are you looking at them? Are you appreciated their looks, clothes etc, well as long as its not in a creepy way and your girlfriend doesn't mind (I mean REALLY doesn't mind) then relax, enjoy the view

I agree with your girlfriend. Who cares what other people think? You have a right to look at anything you want. Looking at someone is not a crime, and neither is looking like you are looking at someone.By the way, how do you know these girls think you are looking at them? After all, the only way to know if a girl is looking at you is if you look at them. If you were never really looking at a girl, you would never know if she was looking back at you. This circular logic is making my head spin. =)
