Why did she have to make a comment like that?

Question - (10 July 2009) 4 Answers - (Newest, 11 July 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

i know this is trivial compared to people with real problems but its upsetting none the less.

my boyfriend was at work the other day and said that a girl there mentioned to him that my ex had got married (he used to work there too)

she then made a funny comment about my boyfriend should know who he was because he was the one that stole me off my ex which is complete rubbish.

at the time my current boyfriend and i were friends and that was it.

i was just very upset then when another friend told me that my ex and this girl are friends on facebook

i cant understand why she would feel the need to make comments like this ?

GrimmReality agony auntAh the dreaded social network...Haters and Hookups I like to call em. This gal obviously has nothing better to do than try to stir up drama. Block her and pay no attention to her.

Well, if she is a friend of the ex, she wanted to let you know through your boyfriend that your ex had gotten married, maybe to rub your nose in it because your ex told her that you dumped him or something along those lines....to let you know the big one got away...

Because...women hate women? I don't rly know but it seems more like gossip than comments. And we all know how much a lot of women with a lot of free time like to gossip.
