Question - (10 June 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 10 June 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i just got out of a relationship for a yr and a half, we have been having problems for a while. I started talking to somebody else about a week before i broke it off with my bf and i ended up cheating on him with this person. We talked for about two weeks and he told me he like me more than just a friend. He was supposed to come over two different times and told me he had something else he had to do. After that he asked me out on a date and i said yes but i wasnt so sure seeing as though he blew me off two other times. Well the next day he said we are just better off as friends. Im just wondering why we would of done this? He is friends with my brother and said it would be too awkward but it didnt stop him from making a move on me when i was still in a relationship?? Hes not seeing anybody else as far as i know and the fact that he did that just makes me like him more. We still talk here and there but i just dont know why he lead me on. Please help!!!

YouWish agony auntYou were played, unfortunately. He liked the illicit feeling of stealing another guy's girlfriend. He didn't want to commit. He wanted to conquer, and once you became "free", so to speak, he wasn't interested.
