writes: Why is it hard for some guys to be open and upfront about their feelings? I'm asking because the guy I have been interested in a shy guy. I'm wondering why it seems as if he likes me yet he hasn't made a move. I'm a nice girl in no way am i stuck up are unpleasant. Why is it hard for him to talk to me?

Well if he's shy he's probably afraid of asking you out so if you like him so much maybe you could ask him out. I'm a girl and it's hard for me to be open with my feelings so him being a shy guy is probably extra hard.

reader, anonymous, writes (23 January 2009): this is because he is extremly embarased about asking you out. Almost all guys become embarased when asking a girl out (this gets worse depending on how hot he thinks you are which sounds like a huge ammount). It's somthing to do with standing out and asking girls that guys just seize up and go red in the face at the thought of. I should know because I'm a 15-year old guy and my girl had to practically jump on me before I plucked up the courage to ask her out. The best course of action would be to talk to him and tell him that you like him and want to go out. This means that the chance of you regecting him are gone when he asks you himself. That should clear things up.
