writes: Hi. Just wondering possible reasons? Over a year ago I had what is called an emotional affair at work. HR got involved and others...nevertheless it caused us to not be friendly anymore because of lies and drama..well we have been friendly here and there, but then he gets hot and cold, hi one day goes the other way the next...I'm tired of the flip flop. Anyhow, I helped him a few times at work..I notice that he can't look at me when we talk...he may look at my eyes a minute, but then looks aways and around while talking to me?? I just wondered what that might be bout. Just for the record I do see him glancing at me as he can do...nevertheless...he has found himself a new possible 'victim'...anyway...I wondered about his not being able to look at me when he talks so much?? I thought I'd give a brief background..thank you for you input...I'm curious...

If he can't make eye contact, he's feeling guilty. Not a good situation to put yourself in...an office affair never turns out quite the way it does on TV or in a book, huh?
