Where i live it is really hot, so i dont think this makes sense. i mean, if shes in a bikini or something super revealing, i can see the fuss! But i mean, im told that a long t shirt and shorts halfway down my thigh arent age appropriate ( im 13) while a normal weight friend could be wearing the same thing and not told anything. I cant help that im relatively thinner, i actually want to gain Weight. But to me it seems that skinnier girls are targeted more for what they wear, because it looks slightly different on us. I dont get it, why are thin girls targeted for what they wear , regardless of the temp? Reply to this Question Share |

I think a bigger girl could have written your post too, it's not just skinny girls who get singled out. Honestly though, I don't think it's a "competition" of why get targeted the most. It seems that way to you because YOU are a skinnier girl.
It's ANY girl. Unfortunately girls are way more critical of themselves and other girls when it comes to appearances.
The thing is to learn not to care what others think about your apparel. If you want to wear whatever shirt, then DO SO and tell them to go fly a kite. If it's your mom/dad then maybe they think you would look better in something else, and again I would tell them that THIS shirt makes YOU feel comfortable, and then they might just back off.
Let it roll of your back, honey.
