 this all goes back shamefully to the olden days. like then in our society today (unintentially) women are still regarded as lower than men so men have a right to play women because their "better"
this is totally unfair on women, its been drummed in to society and now its very hard to shake out. i have been called a slag once or twice because i've had a lot of boyfriends - guess what, all those people who called me a slut or slag were virgins. the word jealous? springs to mind.

reader, anonymous, writes (12 November 2007): The reasons are 100% biology. Men & women call argue over it all day long and dispute whats fair or unfair, but it's pointless. We might as well be arguing over whether we should continue to eat and breathe. The reasons for the double standard to have evolved make perfect logical sense whether we like the situation or not. (And it also takes BOTH GENDERS working to maintain things this way, whether women want to admit it or not.)
If women don't want males to be sluts then maybe they should consider actually holding it against males who screw around too much. (Women complain about not liking males to be sluts, but women sleep with them all the time anyway. Words don't matter, only actions.)
If men don't want women to be sluts then maybe they should actually stop screwing anyone they can whenever they can. It takes two to tango, and even a lot of "moral" men who want a clean bride will still hump anything that walks when they're single.

yes it does suck. As a guy I can admit that freely. But dont paint all of us guys with the same brush please.
My own partner was very experienced before we met and I have never felt any less of her, however you only have to look at DearCupid to see the masses of insecure pathetic men who whine about their wives/girlfriends past lovers. It is truly pathetic and you wonder how they ever managed to get a girl in the first place.
In ancient times the woman's body was worshipped and love was freeeeeeee... then along came Christianity to spoil the party.. the rest is history :)

I'm guessing from context clues its another word for slut..i like it though. I'm going to start using it. But to answer your question, it's not right, but sadly, it's the way things are. Maybe in a hundred years it willbe different. For now, just do what makes you happy and forget anyone who judges you for it! They don't matter to you anyways, right?

coming from a guys point of view,guy or girl i think its stupid and trashy. BUT if you do it in the privacy of your own home or hotel etc. whatever thats your business. we all have our lives and whos to say how we live them? What i think is trashy is when people brag about it,a guy to all his friends or a girl to her friends etc. What you do in private is your deal but if you brag about it,why would you expect to have respect if you sound so trashy?
