He tells me he misses me. He tells me he wants to spend time with me. I see him 2-3 times a week. I do not even see my other friends that often. We text each other every day all day, for the most part. But when it comes to being GF/BF he says he's afraid. We pretty much are dating. We act like a couple. We hold hands in public.. it's not just an indoor thing. He did mention that he wanted to get to know me better. I'm not rushing. I just want to know why guys are afraid to date someone they like.

He might be afraid that if you start officially dating that it may not work out?Or, I'm just throwing this out there. But he may not want to be offically off the market as of just yet?
