writes:I've had a crush on this guy for a while. I think he might like me too, but he is shy. His friends are being unusually nice to me at times. They are always staring at me during class. If I look up at them and they are with him they will Say something to him and then he looks at me really fast and then looks away. He has this one friend that I don't even know. Whenever I walk by him in the hallway he stares at me. If I'm walking by him he will look back at me. One day I was walking to class and I walked past him and some other kid I don't know. He hit the other kid and pointed at me. I heard him say something like that's her. I have class after him in this one room. Coincidentally I sit in the same seat he does. When I got to class he was still in there talking to the teacher and he had his books on my desk. I just sat down and paid no attention to it. He knew his books were still on my desk. He was going to come get them, but then he just left them on my desk. If he is with the guy I like he will hit him or something when I walk by and they both start to talk. I don't even know his name and I don't know why he would do this. Do you think the guy I like told him about me? What could they be whispering about? Why is it that his friends do this especially the one friend I don't know?

reader, anonymous, writes (6 May 2009): Excellent. This means that the guy has told all his friends he likes you and now they're taking the mickey out of him. It also means they want to encourage him to take the next step and ask you out. As for the whispering and staring, don't fret. Its just a guy thing!
