writes: My boyfriend and I have been together for almost two years. We are doing very well and are happy together. I used to be really physically affectionate toward him but less recently. He is however the same as before toward me. There is totally nothing wrong between us. I'm concerned why I behave this way. Is it because I am going off him, deep down? Or have we passed the 'honeymoon' phase? I really wanna figure out what it is as having it lurk in the back of my mind makes me feel uncomfortable. It's not a stupid question. But yes, the honeymoon phase is over and now you and he will find out if your love will remain. Being good friends is a very good thing. As long as you two can talk about silly stuff and important stuff and still get along. As long as you both are working toward a goal of some sort either marriage, or just living together, or paying off bills and you are still getting along, you should be okay in your relationship. Take it one day at a time, and don't read too much into the lulls..they are normal in any relationship.
