Dan and I have known each other for just over a month now, through work mainly. In the work place, he is very quiet and talks fairly little to other members of staff. According to what he's told me, he has had a history of depression, so I am uncertain whether this is still affecting him or if he is shy aswell. But when I hang out with him, he is quite chirpy and interesting. Also he hugs me a lot, but never puts 'x' in his texts and I am unsure what this means...On the other hand, Gary is is a guy I met at school who has recently split up with his girlfriend but has always been interested in me. As we have not spoken for a while, he has offered to get to know me better and hopes that something good will come out of it all. he seems more afectionate in his messages but, again, am not sure what this means...For some reason, I am more interested in Daniel, and therefore, my question is who likes me more and what do I do? Also, is it right/wrong to get daniel a Christmas present? Please help

it sounds like you like this Daniel better... go with him. nothing is wrong with getting him a present for christmas but if the two of you are not "together" then keep it simple. dont go overboard.
