From the age of about 13 i've had trouble keeping my skin clear and it's been really bad for my confidence. But lately my skin is doing quite well for once it's mainly just marks where they've been.but i'm finding it quite hard to find makeup or something equally as good to have more confidence as i walk out my front door.makeup either makes my skin too oily, too dry or too obvious coverage. If anyone can recomend something that won't make me breakout that will give me a natrally flawless look and at a very good price.(something that would suit fair complexions)And can someone also give me tips on how to achieve clear skin even without makeup.Help.

bobbles32 agony auntMost mineral makeups contain Bismuth Oxychloride, and this clings to the skin which can cause irriation and trigger acne. Which is something they don't tell you in the commercials for the mineral makeups, they're also quite expensive, if they're not the ripoff kind.

Pro Activ can sting if it's applied where you open sores, like a pimple you've picked at, or an abbrasion, but since you said that most of your acne is gone then I don't think you'd have a problem with it.

I pay 19.99 for a kit of Pro Activ and it lasts me for about 6 months. Fairly inexpensive, if you ask me.

bobbles32 agony auntTry Pro Activ! It worked so well on myself, and all off my friends who have used it. Its an acne medication that you can order, and it clears your skin and evens your skin tone and gives you a healthy look! It has worked wonders on my confidence.

jessica04 agony auntI have known a lot of people who really like using the bare minerals, loose powder make up. It is quite pricey, but my girlfriends swear by it.

I too have terrible skin that is only clearing up with use of an extreme medication from my dermatologist. I have never once worn cover up, both because I was afraid it would make my skin worse, and because I got tired of hiding from an obvious problem.

If you skin has cleared up and you just have a few pock marks left over, I would suggest micro dermabrasion. Find a dermatologist who might have some better advice for treatments or products that won't cause a flair up.

You should get some professional advice form a dermatologist or make up artist. Go to MAC and ask for a make over and they will suggest products for you. I would suggest mineral makeup.

By the way, this is really a place for questions about relationships and life problems etc. There are plenty of make-up forums etc out there you could have gone to instead.
