i have an odd relationship cont.....

well things have taken a bit of a drastic turn here. Sunday I hung out with him again. I have been talking a little bit with one of his friends lately about us, and she came to me with some shockign news! I guess he went over to visit her and her husband, and they asked him whether or not he and I were officially dating, boyfriend/ girlfriend, and he said yes! He hasn't said anything to me about going taking things further, so I don't know for sure if it's true, but i feel i can trust them to tell me the truth. I would like to talk to him, but am unsure of how to approach him about it. He is the type of person that if they feel cornered in even the slightest way, they'll turn and run. I don't wish to push or pressure him, but I would like to know where we stand so i don't take things too far! any suggestions, please help?

caraduddy agony auntI think you should start with what are your feelings towards me and find out if he likes you from what he says. If he says he likes you ask him if he has mentioned you and him dating in any such way. Say you dont mind but you would like to know where you stand.
