reader, anonymous, writes (1 May 2009): Don't feel stupid about asking her where she'd like to go, she might like to have some input or control over the situation! Even if you just say something along the lines of "I was thinking we could go out to [insert place name here], would that suit you?"
And yes like redharley said, she may have some allergies or may be vegetarian etc.

Well do you know what she likes? If not take her some where that is quiet and where you can get to know each other. Ask her there is nothing wrong with asking her what she likes. Heck she might have allergies that you might not know about. LOL.
