I want to go to an secret/underground warehouse rave somewhere in London?

Where can I go... what can I do? How do you find out about things like this?

Also... does anyone have any experiences of going to places like this?

thanks

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (7 October 2008):

I don't know the London scene, but up in Liverpool, you just have to get to know which DJ's play for these things (make a note of the names on posters and who play in clubs) and get on their myspace / websites and get on any mailing lists.

Plus if you have friends who go to the type of clubs with similar music being played to the raves then you get to know the people there and find out through word of mouth.

Also keep an ear out for pirate radio stations.

They'll be full of drugs and it's quite often bring a bottle, and don't take anything that you don't mind losing / getting stolen. Keep your phone / cash / keys in little pockets on you at all times. Keep a £20 for a taxi in your bra for emergencies.

Take friends and keep an eye on each other and each other's drinks.

Good Luck!! xx
