I have been dating this guy I have been hot and bothered about for a while! The sex is astronomical because my feelings for him are rock hard. But there is something that is bothering me. Whenever he goes in, I feel this burning sensation like I have to pee. Now, I am a clean girl.... no STDs here. It just feels like I have to pee whenever he is in me. Once it's over, I go to the bathroom and I'm bone dry. I go to the bathroom before we get started also. So what the hell is that feeling?

This happens to me babes, so I always make sure that I go toilet before and after to save myself embarrassment. I don't know what causes it, but it's not caused me any harm. Perhaps it is the depth and you could ask him to ease off a bit. I really wouldn't let it worry you, cause it doesn't worry me.

DoubleM agony auntOk, if no infections - great. The deep part may mean he is reaching the cervix. It typically retracts during sexual activity. Not being a woman, I cannot say whether penile contact to the cervix produces a "burning" sensation, but some women claim some degree of discomfort when that occurs. It may still prove normal in your case.

Hey DoubleM,

Well, I have been checked for STDs and any other infections and the doc says I am clean. Though it only persists while we are having sex. I do notice something about him though....he likes to go deep deep DEEP inside of me and I think he may be hitting something that shouldn't be touched. That's all I can think of.

A male reader, DoubleM United States +, writes (10 October 2008):

DoubleM agony auntThere are conditions other than those caused by sexual transmission that can cause the burning sensation you described, such as yeast or bacterial infections. Although you describe the burning sensation along with feeling a need to urinate, they may or not be associated. The sensation for a need to urinate during intercourse is common with many women and some men, especially in youth or early in their sexual history. Women often describe the sensation during G-spot stimulation as well, and for some it apparently signals impending orgasm. If the burning sensation occurs at any time other than during sexual activities, you may want to be checked out - while if mild and only sexually triggered, it could be totally normal for you. Best wishes.

Two chances: you are either very dry but since you say the sex is astronomical no chances of that.If your bladder is full before sex you feel like peeing. Since you go to the bathroom before seems like you are having an urinary infection. It doesn't matter how clean you are. Happens due to body heat at times too. I suggest you increase your water intake at once. Fix an appointment with your gynecologist so that you can rule out the possibilities of urinary infection. Take care and don't worry. These things do happen.
