Me and my girlfriend use to have long conversations at the first of our relationship and it was great to be able to. But now when we talk we have nothing to talk about what so ever and I was just wondering if this was natural for most couples. Reply to this Question Share |

Hi sweetness,
Yes, very natural. You run out of conversation after awhile. ESPECIALLY on the phone, lots of blank pauses, etc. Don't worry about it, doll... doesn't mean your relationship is falling apart, it just means you'll have to grow to appreciate the silence. When you're together, in person, it'll get easier to talk about things.

it is normal and if you live together it gets worse, dont sweat it, and if you feel you need something to talk about, bring up good happy memories from the past and talk about how it made you feel and what you liked about it. there's always something to talk about you just have to dig for it. i've been with my nan for 13 years and we dont talk much either, but it's nothing to worry about
