When i am on top during sex when I orgasm I get the most awful shooting headache pain, i can feel it going up my spine and my head absolutely feels like its going to explode and I have to stop immediately and lie down, but there is residual pain for a while after. I dont get this problem if i am underneath during sex. Has anyone ever heard of this problem before?

You are probably hitting a nerve somewhere in your back. Have you talked to your doctor about this? Its possible you might have an injury or problem with your spine. This might be an indication that something else is wrong, not just a problem with sex.
If your too embarrassed about going to the docs, just tell them you get it sometimes when your running or certain exercises. You don't have to tell them you only get it from being-on-top sex.
